The Grand Hotel in Jerome has a reputation for being the most haunted hotel in Jerome; once a hospital for the mining community of Jerome, the Grand Hotel is said to be haunted by previous hospital residents. The so called Death Rooms of the Grand Hotel were the rooms in which hospital residents were left to die; hotel guests who now stay in these rooms report sightings of ghosts, ghostly noises and the moving of objects during the night.
